A note on discipline
Why some people lose money even though we win.
Roughly once every two years, we'll have a stretch where we lose ten units or so. It's a small loss in the big picture — you can barely see it on the profit chart. But when it happens, it feels much bigger than it is.
A member joins, gets used to winning, and forgets what losing feels like. They get overconfident, start betting bigger, more aggressively. Then a −10 to −15 unit downswing hits and they're not prepared — they chase, tilt, and lose their whole bankroll. This is the single biggest reason members lose money.
