With three months left to go, 2026 is already shaping up to be one of our biggest winning years ever and now we have an opportunity to make it the most profitable of my 20+ year career.
We’re currently up +56 units across UFC and football betting in 2026, and I’m setting myself a challenge to finish the year at +100 units or better.
That means we need to bank +44 units of profit between October and December. It’s an ambitious goal, but when I look at what we’ve achieved so far and the opportunities ahead, there are three reasons to feel optimistic that we can hit this target.
1. UFC Live Betting gives us a strong foundation
Our average monthly profit from UFC Live Betting is +4.83 units, and we’ve already had several months this year with returns of +7 to +8 units or better.
An average of +5 units per month over October, November and December would contribute +15 units towards the target. That wouldn’t require three exceptional months, just a run slightly above our existing average.
We’ve performed really well throughout 2026 and have come close to monster +10 to +15 unit months several times. If we can bank one of these monster months between now and the end of the year, it makes our +44 units of profit target even more achievable.
2. Football has already shown what’s possible
Before the recent dip at the start of the new season, our football bets were averaging around +7 units of profit per month. We also put together eight consecutive winning months, including an outstanding +23 units in July.
The setback at the start of this new season has been frustrating, but it doesn’t erase the progress we made before it.
A return to an average of +7 units per month would add +21 units over the remainder of the year, almost half of the +44 units we’re aiming for.
3. We're entering into the best time of the year for betting Football
In my experience, the closing stages of the season in April and May, the off season months in June and July, and the opening weeks of a new season in August and September are the most difficult periods for football betting.
Those difficult months are now behind us, and we’re moving into the best time of the year for betting Football.
That doesn’t mean the next three months will be easy, but when you consider how well we’ve performed over the last year during some of the most difficult stages of the season, there’s a good chance we’re going to perform really well throughout the rest of this year.
Can we hit +44 units of profit in 3 months?
An average of +5 units per month from UFC Live Betting and +7 units from football would produce a combined +36 units, taking our annual total from +56 to +92 units.
That would leave us just +8 units short of our +100 unit target.
UFC Prefight Betting could contribute towards that remaining gap, while a stronger-than-average month from either UFC Live Betting or Football could also make a significant difference. We wouldn’t necessarily need another July-sized +23 unit football result to get there.
These figures aren’t a forecast. They simply put the challenge into perspective: reaching our goal would require a strong finish, but not three months of extraordinary results across everything we do. We’d only have to perform a little better than how we’ve performed for most of the past year in order to achieve this goal.
We’ve hit plenty of goals this year
We’ve set ourselves several challenges throughout 2026. We’ve achieved some and fallen short of others, but now my goal is to reach +100 units of profit across UFC and football betting and make 2026 our biggest winning year yet.
That target is there to give us something exciting to work towards, not a reason to force bets, chase losses or take unnecessary risks. But we know from our 15 year history that if we consistently get our money into strong positions, the profits will take care of themselves.
